With our conference coming up soon the UCISA Sustainability Group would like you to invite you to an Open Mic event to help you get your sustainability hat on!

Join us as we collectively tackle the sustainability challenges around end user computing. Should we buy new more efficient computers, even if the most energy efficient are more expensive? Or should we retain the existing ones as long as possible? Are Desktops more environmentally friendly than Laptops? How about SnapDragon X – should we wait for this?

Many of us are thinking through these challenges now with the Windows 10 end of life countdown forcing us to upgrade to newer machines. Come along to the discussion and help us consider the best compromise between sustainability and affordability.
